Every ornament tells a story. This one tells ours.
The 2026 Cherokee Copper Four Directions Ornament is a limited edition, handcrafted copper Christmas ornament made by our Cherokee family in our studio near Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Four Directions symbol — representing the balance and interconnectedness of all living things in Cherokee tradition — is engraved by hand into solid copper, then hand-finished to bring out the warm, natural glow that only real copper can deliver.
We've been releasing a new limited edition ornament every year since 2019. Each design sells out. This one is no different.
✦ Key Benefits
- Authentic Cherokee Heritage Design — The Four Directions symbol is rooted in Cherokee tradition, representing the balance and interconnectedness of the natural world. This isn't decorative art — it's cultural artistry with real meaning behind every line.
- Genuinely Handcrafted — One at a Time — Every ornament is cut, engraved, and hand-finished in our family studio by award-winning Cherokee artists. No two are exactly alike. You're not buying a product off a shelf — you're receiving a piece someone made with their hands.
- Solid Copper — No Plating, No Shortcuts — We use real copper in everything we make. It catches the light the way no plated or painted ornament ever will, and it develops a beautiful natural patina over the years — getting better with age, just like the traditions it represents.
- Limited Edition — 2026 Only — Once they're gone, they're gone. We produce a limited number of ornaments each year and don't restock prior years. If you want this one, this is the year to get it.
- Made to Be Passed Down — This isn't a one-season ornament. Families who collect our ornaments bring them out year after year, decade after decade. Built from solid copper and hung with genuine deerhide, the Four Directions ornament is an heirloom in the making.
- The Perfect Meaningful Gift — For anyone who values Native American art, Cherokee culture, handmade craftsmanship, or simply wants to give something that actually means something this Christmas — this is it. Beautifully gift-ready straight from our studio.

In 2019, Greg and Lisa Stice started making ornaments so other families could build the same tradition they had — bringing home a piece of somewhere special, unpacking it every December, and remembering. The Four Directions ornament is our 2026 chapter of that story. We hope it becomes part of yours. Wado — thank you — for supporting our family and helping keep Cherokee traditions alive.
