Caring for Your Copper
Copper is a living metal. It naturally darkens and develops a patina as it reacts to air, moisture, and skin. That's not a flaw; it's what real copper does. Some people love the warm, aged look. If you prefer it bright, it's easy to restore:
- Polish with a soft polishing cloth to bring back the shine.
- For heavier darkening, a copper cleaner works well.
- Keep dry, and remove before swimming or showering.
- Avoid lotions, perfumes, and harsh chemicals.
- Store in a small zip bag between wears to slow tarnishing.
