From time to time, we scour every corner of our family studio looking for lost treasures. And what do we mean by "lost treasures"?
If you've ever sewn, beaded, or been any kind of crafter, you know how easy it is to buy all the pretty things. We'll be the first to admit — we've done that a time or two (okay, maybe more) with gemstones. We bought them because they were gorgeous, with no idea what we were going to do with them. Beautiful stones, pearls, and raw copper that have been tucked away in bins and bags across the studio just waiting for the right moment.
That moment is the Secret Sale.
Moriah and Joshua: The Next Generation Brings These Treasures to Life
We've been slowly clearing those hidden gems out of the studio and handing them over to Moriah and Joshua. Together, they comb through all the treasures and make something new — breathing fresh life into materials that have been waiting for just the right hands.
Moriah and Joshua are both award-winning Cherokee artists in their own right. Moriah is an incredible beader whose designs in pearls and gemstones are absolutely stunning. She loves digging through the piles of stones, pearls, and copper and seeing the possibilities of what she can create. Joshua brings his own eye for design and craftsmanship to the mix. Together, they turn forgotten materials into limited-edition pieces you won't see anywhere else.
Limited Edition Cherokee Jewelry — When It's Gone, It's Gone
For each Secret Sale, Moriah and Joshua create brand new, one-of-a-kind designs. All of them are limited in quantity — and in many cases, there is only ONE piece available. If you've followed us for a while, you already know: Moriah's necklaces always sell out. You have to be quick to catch one of these designs.
We also include pieces that we typically only sell at in-person event, designs that just aren't listed on the website. For the Secret Sale, we offer them at special pricing exclusively for our email subscribers. Sometimes we only have one or two of a particular style, and when that happens, we save them specifically for this event.
How Long Does the Secret Sale Last?
Not long. The Secret Sale runs for just a few days, and many of these handmade Cherokee jewelry pieces won't ever be made again. Once they're gone, they're gone for good.
